Biography & Overview
Most people keep their passions and their careers in separate lanes. Echo Hattix is not most people. She is the kind of visionary who enrolls every part of her life — personal, professional, and intellectual — into building an empire.
Powerhouse Echo Hattix is the figure behind the full-service campaign management firm Echoing Soundz. Over the past 16 years, she has represented some of the music industry’s most intriguing artists including CeeLo Green, Trinidad James, The Game, Eric Bellinger, E-40, V Bozeman, YG, and Xzibit, just to name a few. Tenacious, whip-smart, and business savvy, she has built a reputation for crafting her clients’ public image through social media, red carpets, and the strategic dissemination of their art — creating longevity for both her clients and her company.
“I am never looking for artists, they come to me,” she explains. “What I am looking for when they show up is a feeling, a vision, and a sound.” Once those are clear, she seeks a fearless disposition — an artist willing to do what they’ve never done before, and to trust Echo and her team to go to work.
From Publicity To Full-Scale Campaign Management
While many see publicity as a single slice of the industry, Echo quickly realized it would take more than traditional PR to make an artist truly relevant, famous, and in demand. Her team was already marketing, creating publicity stunts, producing red carpet events, and conceptualizing full-scale activations for clients across the country — all under the outdated label of “publicity.”
Recognizing this, Echo and business partner Moses Hill rebranded Echoing Soundz as a campaign management firm, handling artists’ needs from A–Z. From brand positioning and narrative to activations and long-term strategy, she builds campaigns that reflect the deepest desires of her clients — not just the surface-level goals.
The ES Odyssey: Understanding The Artist’s True “Why”
To support this evolved infrastructure, Echo developed an internal client introductory program called ES Odyssey — an eight-hour, phone-free course designed to gain absolute clarity around a client’s wants, hopes, and long-term vision.
In the past, it could take months for artists to fully admit what they really wanted, often wasting time and resources. With ES Odyssey, Echo created a mentally intensive, unapologetic process that reveals those deep-rooted desires so her team can design targeted campaigns with precision.
“The fame game is tricky,” she notes. “Most people are almost always embarrassed to say the words I want to be famous — even though that’s exactly why they hire me. ES Odyssey gives us the honest truth, free from the noise of everyday life.”
Early Love Of Music & A Path Rewritten
Echo’s journey into music began with a deep love for classical piano and an early dream of becoming a world-renowned pianist. After a difficult recital, she promised herself that if she could make it through her Mozart piece one last time, she would never play again. She kept that promise — but her passion for music never left.
As an on-air personality at her college radio station and a PBS TV producer during college, the mass communication major stayed close to sound and storytelling. She considered a path as a music video director but recognized the reality of spending countless hours isolated in an edit bay — a “deserted island” she knew wasn’t aligned with her calling.
Instead of stopping, she pivoted — again and again — until she landed in a lane she could truly own: strategic, high-impact campaign management at the intersection of music, media, and culture.
Beyond Music: A Multi-Industry Powerhouse
Today, Echo Hattix is an unbridled source of wisdom whose wins in the music industry have opened doors in gaming, technology, wine & spirits, and brand management for nightlife venues around the country. Echoing Soundz has produced elaborate red carpet events for pop-culture favorites such as Blac Chyna, Snoop Dogg, Amber Rose, Nick Cannon, DGK, Scott Storch, and many more.
When asked what keeps her grounded, she points directly to her faith: “I have a solid spiritual anchor because the way this entertainment industry is set up, your relationship with GOD will be your saving grace.”
Wisdom For The Next Generation
For young women and emerging professionals interested in her field, Echo’s guidance is clear: be a student of your craft with the intention of mastery. Learn the essence of timing and physically write your wants down on paper. She is not a savior or a martyr to her clients — she is a consummate expert, a strategist, and a powerhouse leader many recognize simply as “The Oracle.”
